Mesquite

Tailyn and Olivia "exploring" on the rocks around the soccer field
What a BEAUTIFUL few days in Mesquite! It was a wonderful weekend of soccer and warm weather. Unfortunately I left my camera home so I only took a few photos with my ipad while hanging around.
Kenyan, Isaac, Micah, Alex and Braden "vegging" out in between games.
Isaac's team did fantastic. They won 2 games and tied 1 game. This was enough to put them through to the semi-finals on Monday. So, Saturday night the girls went to Las Vegas for a bit of shopping and then Sunday morning we enjoyed a nice church service. Acacia and Italia stayed home with Aunt Cathi for a vacation of their own. I was afraid Ainsley and Olivia were going to turn into raisins, they spent so much time in the pool. On Sunday our hearts were broken as we heard that Lainey had returned to our Heavenly Father. I was sad to be so far away knowing that Stacie and Spencer were home and heart broken. We spent some time on Sunday afternoon talking and taking the Spirit in as we discussed Lainey's life and the Plan of Salvation that our Heavenly Father has given to us. It was a sweet experience to have that time with Brian, Isaac, Ainsley and Olivia.

More relaxing & some soccer watching
On Monday morning Isaac played in the semi's and unfortunately did not win. The boys were bummed at first but instead went to another field with the Dad's and played soccer for a few hours. I think they had so much fun that they forgot that they forgot they didn't win the whole tourney. The girls were good the boys playing because we got a late check-out and spent a few last hours in the pool. By lunch time we were feasting at In-N-Out in St. George and heading for home!
