Let's Say "Repeat"

Isaac is speechless, Brian is a proud Daddy and Italia is a two-time (in a row) winner of the Barlow Family NCAA Bracket Championship. In fact Italia is so much the winner that it didn't even matter if UConn beat Butler. Once they made it to the finals on Saturday, Italia was guaranteed the win. Actually she had #12 Richmond winning it all and even though they didn't make it past the elite 8, they had a few upsets along the way which helped Italia maintain rule as the champ.

We can all learn alot from our wise 3 year old. This will come as a surprise to many but it is all about the mascots, logo and colors. Italia sat on Brian's lap and after using a complex scientific method she was able to use her Diego educated animal loving skills combined with her eye for nice colors and fonts to select how the bracket was going to break down. What a genius!!

We reward greatly for skills like this and on Monday night (right before the finals) we treated the family to a lovely dinner selected by Italia. There is nothing like homemade Macaroni and Cheese and green smoothies with lot's of berries in them. Italia was a little perplexed when the mac and cheese arrived with broccoli in it because that was not outlined in her order but like a true winner she was able to rise above the turmoil - after only a few tears. She doesn't know it but I am sure she is lookiing forward to 2012!
