Olivia's Stitches
She has finally done it! Brian and I have often talked about how amazing it is that Olivia has never had to have stitches or had a broken bone. Both Isaac and Ainsley have had broken bones and stitches and Isaac has had staples in his head but Olivia has been lucky even though she is the most adventurous of them all.
But, her good luck finally ended and yesterday she fell off the bar stool and took her brand new Yellowstone mug with her. This resulted in 5 stitches in 3 toes. Fortunately Brian walked in just after it happened and he ran her to the Doctor to get it taken care of. Olivia left crying but came home pleased with the prizes she earned for her bravery. Good Job Olivia!!
PS-After making this post I remembered Olivia did get stitches when she was 13 months after Ainsley tried to give her a hair cut but missed the hair and cut her ear instead.
Ouch!! Taylor and Callie just got done looking at Olivia's picture and the look on their faces said enough!! They both said 'oh that's sad', 'stitches really hurt', then Taylor said I have to leave, 'that's freakin me out! Hopefully Olivia will recover quickly from her injury, good luck!
ReplyDeletePoor Olivia! Stitches are never a fun thing! Luckily kids bounce back quickly and I'm sure she'll be racing around again in no time!

OUCH! What a hard place to have stitches. I remember always looking forward to the prizes after getting hurt or really sick. There's something about a prize that really makes it all better :)
