Kung Fu Fighting in Lehi

Today was the annual Lehi Round Up Days Parade. Every few years our ward gets the opportunity to enter a float into the Friday night and Saturday morning parade.

Our ward's float followed the "Kung Fu Panda" theme adding a touch of Utah as the panda carries his home and heads west. Andrew Munoz from our ward was the creator of the float and he did a FANTASTIC job! We won the "Miss Lehi Award" for the float.

It was a scorching 98 degrees today but the kiddo's didn't seem to mind. Olivia went the extra mile to make sure Brian and I got some of the candy she was generously throwing into the crowds.

Isaac was happy that the 12 year old girls gave him a turn to help with the dragon. Being the head of the dragon was even better.

Acacia was a trooper! She spent the first half of the route riding in the float but then decided she wanted to walk with everyone else. Even at the end of the parade she was still having a great time.

Ainsley didn't disappoint! She had some "moves" that she was happy to show off! Wow! What energy!

Last, but not least, Italia! Sitting just where she wants to be. Chillin with Marcus. One of her best buds!
