Thanksgiving Point Animal Farm
Thanksgiving Point is less than 5 minutes away but it has been years since I have taken the kids there. We finally made a morning out of it with Stacie, Sadie and Hope. Isaac and Ainsley chose other activities.
Acacia is more "animal lover" by herself than the rest of us added together! She is always talking about dogs, cats, horses and any other animals that come to mind. She keeps asking when she is going to get to bring her horse home. She doesn't seem to believe that we don't have the space. So, visiting all these animals was perfect for her. She touched all the animals. By the time she left she had talked to each of them and re-named each one of them.
After visiting the horses and mules and learning all about how seeds become produce we enjoyed a wagon ride.
Thanksgiving Point was the perfect place to spend a few hours with sisters and cousins on a hot summer morning. I better not wait years before going back.

Acacia could have spent the whole time feeding the animals. I didn't have any quarters with me to buy the seed but that didn't stop Acacia. She resourcefully crawled around on the ground picking up what others dropped. She easily was able to gather a number of hand fulls of yummy animal treats.
We saved the best for last! Finally we headed over to the pony rides. They each selected the perfect pony and enjoyed their little rides. All 3 of my little girls enjoyed riding their new friends.
