...And Then She Turned 8

Well Olivia's BIG birthday has finally arrived! The big #8!! Everything went great this week and hopefully all her dreams came true! Olivia finished reading the Book of Mormon just in time for her birthday (her goal) and is really excited for her baptism. The weather on Olivia's birthday was chilly but a few days later things warmed right up. 8 or 9 of Olivia's closest friends came over for some jumping, sliding and playing. I filled about 200 water balloons and the kids had great fun with those.

Olivia's baptism was originally scheduled for June 30th. The youth in our ward will be on trek that day so the baptism has been moved to August 4th. Olivia is happy with the change since the 4th is her Daddy's birthday and he was baptized on that day as well. She really likes the idea of sharing baptism days with him.
Olivia is a joy to have in our home. She has been blessed with so many gifts from her Heavenly Father. She is a wonderful leader and is able to naturally make others feel comfortable and accepted. I am so proud of my little princess!
